Hi all! In my last blog I asked you to vote between my two waterfall pictures to help me choose which one to display in an art show. A big thanks to everyone who voted! I really appreciate you taking the time. 
Well, the votes are in, and the winner is (drumroll please)........a tie! When I last checked, the votes were dead even at 26 for each picture. So which one did I end up choosing? I'm sure you are all just dying to know!
Well, since I couldn't make up my mind, I just decided to go with...... Both! 
Actually, that was what I wanted to do in the first place. My original plan was to put both pictures in the show, but I was told that there was only room for one. Hence, the agonizing decision. But then the day before the show, the organizers realized that there would be more room then originally anticipated, and I was allowed to display both my waterfall pictures after all. Hooray for happy endings!

The Results Are In
First of all, I want to give a big thank-you to everyone who voted in my recent poll! :hug: In case you missed it, I put up a poll about a month ago to help me figure out which type of photography I should pursue next. The categories were: abstract, architecture, birds, flowers, insects, landscapes, macro, and still life. The votes were all across the board, but at the time that I closed the poll, the clear winner was macro with 12 votes. Second place was tied between birds and flowers, with 7 votes each, and third place was also a tie between abstract and landscapes with 6 votes each. Based on these results, I plan to focus more on my macro
